BPSC Recruitment 2024: Application For 106 Assistant Architect Posts to Commence on February 21 – News18

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the official recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Architect. This vacancy is under the Building Construction Department, Govt. of Bihar under Advt. No. 23/2024. As per the notification, the online application process will commence on February 21, 2024, and the last date to submit the application form is March 11, 2024. Through this recruitment drive, the commission plans to fill a total of 106 vacancies in the organisation. The selected candidates will be placed on the Level 9 pay scale.

BPSC Assistant Architect Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: For unreserved male candidates, the minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 37 years. Meanwhile, the maximum age for unreserved females in the backward/extremely backward class (male and female) is 40 years, while the upper age for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) is 42 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Architect must hold a Bachelor in Architecture degree from any recognised university.

BPSC Assistant Architect Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PWD), and Female categories must pay an application fee of Rs 200, while those from other categories have to pay Rs 750 for registration.

BPSC Assistant Architect Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Candidates will be chosen solely based on their performance in a written examination and their work experience, as demonstrated. A two-hour written exam for a single paper will be administered by the Commission. The exam will consist of 75 questions carrying 300 points, and it will be conducted in an objective multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. Candidates should keep in mind that there will be negative markings in the recruitment exam. They will be penalized for one-third for every wrong answer.
