Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani celebrate the promise of love in a beautiful setting under the stars. Culminating three days of their pre-wedding festivities on a heartwarming note, Radhika Merchant made a soul-stirring bridal entry to the romantic lyrics of Dekha tenu pehli pehli baar we…from the popular song, Shava Shava.
Styled by celebrity fashion stylist and producer, Rhea Kapoor, the soon-to-be bride Radhika Merchant looked mesmerising in Tarun Tahiliani couture. Exuding India’s Modern style in serene blends of pastel colours, the quintessential Tarun Tahiliani saree was paired with an aesthetically designed veil.
Tarun Tahiliani’s love for architecture, culture and the subtle grace of blooms stood out in the six yards of sheer elegance. A contemporary tribute to timeless Indian heritage, which seamlessly blended with the dress code of the evening, also saw Anant complement his beautiful bride-to-be Radhika in an ivory classic sherwani with surface texturing. Known for his undying love for animals, Anant enhanced his Indian attire with a sparkling brooch of a lion.
Anant Ambani’s entry saw him walk hand in hand with his sister Isha Ambani and sister-in-law, Shloka Ambani. The couple, Radhika and Anant received blessings and love from their families including Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Kokilaben Ambani, Shloka and Anant Ambani, Isha Ambani, Shaila and Viren Merchant, Anjali Merchant Majithia, who cheered them on as they made their grand entries.
Nita Mukesh Ambani and Isha Ambani adorned Manish Malhotra silver ensembles featuring a Kanchipuram saree and a luminous lehenga respectively. Nita Ambani’s sari was handcrafted by Swadesh in collaboration with Manish. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, Isha Ambani’s custom lehenga was enhanced with diamond and emerald jewellery.
Shloka Ambani adorned a gold lehenga set featuring an embellished dupatta enhanced with a pop of multi-coloured embroidered stripes. Keeping it classic, Akash Ambani adorned a Raghavendra Rathore sherwani in the majestic shade of blue and paired it with white pants. Akash was styled by Eka Lakhani.
The magical three days came to an end with an evening of live music performed by renowned singers Lucky Ali, Shreya Ghoshal, and Arijit Singh among others.
