Among her many creations, the show Kumkum Bhagya, featuring Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia, remains a fan favourite. Remarkably, even after a decade, the show continues to entertain viewers, much like it did when it first aired in 2014.

Recently, Kumkum Bhagya celebrated its 10-year milestone, bringing together both original and new cast members for the occasion. During the festivities, former and current cast members took to social media to share heartfelt messages for their co-stars. However, it was Sriti Jha’s special selfie with Shabir Ahluwalia that truly stole the spotlight. Alongside the picture, the actress penned a unique thank-you note for her on-screen husband, expressing gratitude for the significant impact he has had on her life through the show.

In the post, the two small screen stars were seen wearing matching black outfits. While Sriti looked stylish in an elegant black top and pants, Shabir Ahluwalia, on the other hand, opted for a simpler look. He wore a black shirt and paired it with denim jeans. Meanwhile, sharing the post on Instagram, Sriti wrote, “Kitaaabein band karne se. Kahaaniyaan khatam nahi hoti. This man Shabir Ahluwalia changed my life for the better. Happy love to everyone who celebrated today.”

Soon after Sriti Jha shared the post, the comment section was flooded with positive messages from the die-hard fans of Kumkum Bhagya. However, it was Shabir Ahluwalia’s response that left fans excited, as he wrote, “Only love,” alongside two heart emojis. Meanwhile, their co-stars Aparna Mishra and Arjit Taneja also expressed their affection with multiple heart emojis in the comments.

In a previous conversation with Pinkvilla, Sriti Jha was asked about her current bond with Ahluwalia after their exit. Initially, the actress jokingly said, “No, no, we don’t talk anymore.” However, the Saubhagyavati Bhava star revealed, “Of course, we talk to each other. It’s a friendship for life now. He is also very excited for this show and for us and wished us luck.”

Following the huge success of Kumkum Bhagya, Sriti Jha is currently playing the role of Amruta in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye.
