IIIT Bhagalpur Placements 2024: Highest Package Of Rs 89 Lakh Offered – News18

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bhagalpur is one of the IIITs set up by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in public-private partnership mode. If one wants to study engineering after passing 12th grade, then one can do it at IIIT Bhagalpur, Bihar. This college has achieved many new dimensions in the last four years. The future of the students is also improving with every new experiment going on at the college. Let’s take a look at the placement of the students here.

In a recent media interaction, talking regarding the placement of the college, Registrar Dr Gaurav Kumar said that in the last 3 years, the placement at IIIT Bhagalpur has been almost 100 per cent. Till now, the highest package has been Rs 89 lakh.

Registrar Gaurav Kumar added that a total of 120 students have enrolled in 2024. Out of these, the placement of 45 students has been done. The interviews of the other 12 students have also been done, he added.

He said that in the year 2021 batch, the highest package was Rs 30 lakh; in the year 2021-22 batch, it was Rs 46 lakh; in the year 2022-2023, the highest package was Rs 39 lakh; and in the year 2023-24 batch, it was Rs 89 lakh. He further shared that the minimum package ever received was Rs 6 lakh and the maximum was Rs 89 lakh.

Dr Gaurav said that till now, many companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, Autodesk, TCS Infosys, Max Software, Scaler, Zscaler, Synopsis, and Samsung, have come for placements.

For the Bhagalpur Engineering College, the highest package was Rs 13 lakhs. While the lowest, the package is Rs 5.4 lakh. The placement rate here has been 61 per cent. The lowest package is Rs. 5.4 lakh. , including Mantra Hardware, Vodafone Idea, Indus Towers, Eco Space, Byju’s, Acadmor, and BiPro, have participated in placement at this college. The company is still coming, and there will be more placements.
