Vivo has announced the Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards. The photography contest, according to the smartphone maker, is designed to celebrate the art of smartphone photography. For this, the company has partnered with operational experts Warner Bros. and Discovery. Here’s everything you need to know about participating in Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards.
Award categories and prize details
The award has a total of six categories: Nature, Portrait, Night, Motion, Architecture, and Culture. The shortlisted contestants will get a chance to attend three masterclasses hosted by renowned photographers Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa and Aamir Wani.
The grand prize winner will be awarded Rs 5 lakh, a Vivo X90 Pro smartphone and the chance to be a vivographer (vivo empanelled photographer). Winners of each of the six categories will receive vivo X90 Pro devices.
The work of all the winners will be published on various platforms of Warner Bros. Discovery and Vivo’s social media pages.
How to participate in the award
To participate, users need to register on www.vivoimagine.com starting August 25 onwards. They are required to fill in basic details, upload the photo, select the category and submit.
Vivo has also set some guidelines for users to participate in the awards:
To participate in this Contest, the Participant(s) should be a citizen of India, at least eighteen (18) years of age.
The Participant(s) undertakes, warrants and guarantees to vivo that the Participant(s) has the full legal capacity to participate in the contest and shall comply with these Terms and Conditions.
This contest is exclusive to Vivo smartphone users only. The Participant(s) should adhere to this criteria and shall be requested to share further info regarding their vivo smartphone when asked by audit for further clarification during the judging process.
There is no participation fee for this Contest and no purchase of any products and/or services from vivo is necessary to be eligible to participate in this Contest.
A maximum of 5 (five) unique entries will be accepted per participant irrespective of the theme chosen.
