Hairfall at a high rate can lead to baldness.

Some people experience a loss of around 30-40 hairs which is considered to be normal but if the number rises to 100, it might be a concern.

In today’s society, hair loss problems have become increasingly common among a large portion of the population. Several factors contribute to hair fall, including nutritional deficiencies, the overuse of chemical-laden shampoos, various hair treatments, frequent hair colouring, poor hygiene practices, and excessive use of hair products. While it’s normal for individuals to lose around 30-40 hairs daily, experiencing a loss of approximately 100 hairs per day can be concerning, potentially leading to baldness. Additionally, hair fall can be attributed to various underlying health issues.

Addressing this issue, Nutritionist Anjali Mukherjee recently shared three essential homemade remedies on Instagram to combat excessive hair loss:

Onion Juice: Anjali Mukherjee recommended a simple recipe to reduce hair fall using onion juice, which is readily available and considered beneficial for hair health. Onion juice is rich in sulphur, promoting blood circulation in the hair follicles, aiding hair growth and reducing hair loss. To prepare the remedy, blend onions in a mixer to extract their juice. Mix the onion juice with water in a 1:1 ratio and apply it thoroughly to the scalp. Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing the hair with a mild shampoo.

Green Tea: Anjali Mukherjee highlighted the benefits of green tea not only for health but also for hair. Green tea contains antioxidants that promote hair growth, strengthen hair follicles, and reduce hair fall. To utilize green tea for hair care, prepare a cup of green tea and allow it to cool. Mix some water with the green tea and apply the mixture to the hair and scalp. After 15 minutes, wash the hair with a mild shampoo.

Rosemary Oil: Anjali Mukherjee suggested using rosemary oil to increase blood circulation and accelerate hair growth. Regular application of rosemary oil can significantly reduce hair problems. Mix a few drops of rosemary oil with coconut oil or olive oil and massage the scalp and hair thoroughly. Leave the oil on for approximately 3 hours before washing the hair with a mild shampoo. This technique helps strengthen the hair follicles and promotes healthier hair growth.

By incorporating these homemade remedies into their hair care routine, individuals can effectively combat excessive hair loss and promote healthier hair growth.
