Karan Kundrra Opens Up About His Career Struggles – News18

Actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Karan Kundrra enjoys a good fan following on social media, especially among girls due to his charming persona. He rose to fame with his performance in the TV show Kitni Mohabbat Hai as Arjun Punj which made him a household name. The show also featured actor Kritika Kamra as Arohi, the duo’s on-screen chemistry captivated the audience and they garnered widespread acclaim from the audiences. Since then there was no looking back for the actor and he appeared in several other projects. Recently, in an interview Kundrra opened up about his career struggles and also showered praises on Bollywood actor Bobby Deol.

In an interview with Mashable India for The Bombay Journey, the actor reflected upon his career struggles and said, “People think that getting your first break means the end of struggles, but the real challenge begins when you reach the top. It may be easy to reach there, but staying there is another thing; no one just lets you stay. Everyone faces different types of struggles, ours is just a bit unique.”

The ex-Bigg Boss contestant also showered praises on actor Bobby Deol for talking his heart out during an interview with Mashable earlier, in which he candidly spoke about his struggle period and the career challenges he faced.

Kundrra shared, “King Bobby or Lord Bobby that was one of my favourite interviews. That guy is so sensitive; he openly talked about his life and his love for his wife. But someone calling him a DJ bothers him and it made me think even Bobby had his struggles. Despite achieving success during the initial period he faced a period of four to five years and I thought, man he’s the real deal.”

Bobby received a lot of appreciation from the audience for his performance in the action thriller film Animal which also starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in the film Bobby portrayed the role of a mute villain. The film was one the biggest hits of 2023.

Talking about Kundrra, apart from Kitni Mohabbat Hai, he also appeared in different shows like Dil Hi To Hai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and was also seen as one of the judges on MTV Roadies. On the film front, he has appeared in films like Mubarkan, 1921 and in the recently released film Tera Kya Hoga Lovely.
