Nick Kyrgios is widely known for his outspoken nature on and off the tennis court.

Australian tennis ace Nick Kyrgios has left his fans surprised after announcing he’s joining OnlyFans.

The controversial tennis star feels joining the platform was a “no-brainer”.

As per several media outlets, Kyrgios said, “They are revolutionising social media and I wanted to be part of that…I want to create, produce, direct and own content. That’s the future.”

Kyrgios also put out a post on his official X account where he said, “It just got a whole lot crazier…join me on onlyfans! It’s free to subscribe for everyone! Everything from behind the scenes to on court and everyday life. See you all there. Link in bio.”

Kyrgios is widely known for his outspoken nature on and off the tennis court. His antics have led to trouble for him.

Despite this, OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair was happy to see the Aussie join their platform.

She said, “Nick is a disruptor, so it’s great to see him join our platform, finding new ways to share his content and express himself.”

Kyrgios said that over time he has learned what his fans want to see. “Of course, there will be tennis balls involved, tips, tricks and behind the scenes, but also they’ll get to see all different sides of me,” the Aussie said.

On the tennis court, Kyrgios has been one of the biggest stars of this generation despite the absence of a grand slam singles title. His serve is rated among the best in the business which has troubled the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and even Roger Federer.

Kyrgios has been ranked as high as 13th in the world by the ATP. He currently doesn’t hold a ranking due to his extended absence from the sport.

Kyrgios has won seven singles titles while bagging earnings exceeding $12 million. One of his best singles performances came at Wimbledon last year when he went past the quarter-finals of the competition and into the final for the first time. He even grabbed a set against Djokovic, the 24-time grand slam winner, but eventually lost that match 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (3).

The recently concluded tennis season began on a sour note for Kyrgios though.

The Aussie had to withdraw from the Australian Open in January and required an arthroscopic knee surgery. He later sustained another wrist injury.

Kyrgios had to pull out of Wimbledon in July this year due to fitness issues. It still isn’t unknown if he will return to the Australian Open scheduled next year in Melbourne. However, Tennis Australia boss Craig Tiley expects the player to be there “in some form”.
