Donating brooms on Dhanteras is another way to please Goddess Lakshmi and receive her blessings. According to beliefs, this act will bring happiness to your home and rid it of negativity.

When bringing a new broom into the house, remember to discreetly place the old broom where it won’t be disturbed. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi visits your home in this way.
