Diwali is just around the corner. Preparations for the grand festival of lights in Ayodhya are in full swing, ever since Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assumed position in Uttar Pradesh. Under his leadership, the city of Lord Ram has been hosting a spectacular festival of lights — known as Ayodhya Deepotsav — since 2017. Over the years, this festival has not only set remarkable records on the global stage but has also witnessed continuous growth and prosperity with each passing year.  In the first Deepotsav, Ayodhya set a world record with 1,71,000 diyas. The following year, they exceeded it by lighting 3,00,000 diyas. Now, with 25,000 Avadh University volunteers, they aim to make history again by lighting 2.1 million diyas at 51 ghats in Ayodhya. As per DM Nitish Kumar, the upcoming festival is expected to be an extraordinary event, illuminating the entire city with a radiant sea of diyas.
