The proceeds generated from this glamorous evening will be directed towards the organization’s development and programs amplifying their efforts to make a lasting impact in Government run schools.

The highly anticipated 9th edition of the Teach for Change Annual Fundraiser is set to dazzle on 11th February in Hyderabad. Featuring a star-studded celebrity fashion show, curated by actor, producer and philanthropist Lakshmi Manchu, the event promises to be a night of glamour showcasing the designs of renowned fashion maestros Amit GT for women’s wear and Shashank Chelmilla for men’s wear.

This year’s fashion extravaganza will witness 35 esteemed celebrities gracing the runway, using their influence to support and promote the impactful initiatives led by Teach for Change. Amit GT will showcase his exquisite designs for women’s wear, while Shashank Chelmilla will bring his signature touch to men’s wear, adding an extra layer of style and purpose to the runway.

Lakshmi Manchu shared, “I am thrilled to curate the 9th edition of the Teach for Change Annual Fundraiser, along with my whole team, where fashion meets philanthropy. This glamorous evening not only celebrates style but also empowers us to make a tangible difference in education in Government schools. She added, “We at Teach for Change have been fighting a long-drawn social injustice. A child’s access to quality education depends on their social status or family’s income. Education is our fundamental right, irrespective of our backgrounds. Teach for Change will continue to provide quality education to children studying in Government schools with our flagship volunteer programs and smart classrooms. We are committed to bring about this change one school at a time, one child at a time”.

Teach for Change, a non-governmental organization, has been actively involved in transforming education through two significant programs. The Smart Classroom Initiative has successfully created which are conducive to learning environments by introducing elements like vibrant paintings, low-lying tables, smart TVs and an engaging video-based curriculum. The PEGA TFC Volunteer Program has mobilized individuals from various walks of life, including students and working professionals, who have contributed as volunteers in neighbourhood government schools. The cumulative impact of these programs is staggering, reaching 74,960 students, establishing 243 smart classrooms, and engaging 1,474 dedicated volunteers.
