Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that a return to Ukraine’s 1991 borders is no longer a precondition for holding peace talks. Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Ukraine is contradicting itself by claiming that it could hold peace talks with Russia. Zelensky confirmed media reports that the White House urged him to stop attacks on Russian infrastructure. The Ukrainian military has begun building the second defensive line near Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia Region, the chairman of ‘We Are Together with Russia’ told TASS. A number of foreign embassies in Ukraine asked their fellow citizens to leave the Kharkiv and Odesa Regions.
