Gulab Singh Chauhan, the intermediate topper of the district got 482 marks out of 500. Saurabh Singh scored 578 marks out of 600 in high school.

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has released the Class 10 and 12 results. The complete list of state toppers has been released. The candidates can check their results through the official website of UPMSP. Similarly, the people of Amethi district congratulated their high school and intermediate toppers after the results were released.

Saurabh Singh has topped in the high school board exam and Gulab Singh Chauhan topped in intermediate with flying colours. The former is the son of a farmer while the latter is the son of labour. Gulab Singh Chauhan, the intermediate topper of the district has secured 482 marks out of 500, i.e. 96.48 per cent marks. Whereas, Saurabh Singh scored 578 marks in high school.

Saurabh Singh, a high school student who topped the UP Board exam, is a resident of Harakhpur Saraiya village. Whereas, Gulab Singh Chauhan, an intermediate district topper is from Shiv Pratap Inter College, Amethi. When the son of a farmer and a labourer topped the district, there was a wave of happiness in the entire district along with the teachers and parents. From offering sweets to giving pats on their backs, people of the Amethi district have congratulated the toppers in their ways.

While talking to Local18, Saurabh Singh said that he aspires to become an IAS officer. He has given credit for his hard work to his teachers and parents. He stressed the importance of education and said that every child should study well and make their parents proud. Saurabh Singh’s father Kunwar Bahadur Singh reflected on the struggles of acquiring resources for his son’s education. He said that there was no money to buy books for his son to read. He thanked the school administration for their cooperation. He expressed his happiness and said that the school will be cooperating with his other son’s education too.

Gulab Singh Chauhan of Amethi, who topped the Intermediate exams has given all the credit for his success to his family members and teachers. He has said that his father is a labourer. He did not take any coaching and completed his studies without any external guidance. Gulab Singh Chauhan is a resident of Purva Basayakpur village. He aspires to become an IAS officer by clearing UPSC exams.
