PM Modi UAE Visit LIVE: PM Modi will inaugurate the grand BAPS temple, located in Abu Mureikhah, on February 14
PM Modi in UAE LIVE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will attend the ‘Ahlan Modi’ event in Abu Dhabi. This may be one of the biggest diaspora events as 65,000 people have registered to attend the same in the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Nishi Singh, the Communications Directors of Team Ahlan Modi told News18 that 150 Indian community groups from different parts of the country will be there and around 700 local performers will present “cultural extravaganza” for the audience.
The gathering is a homage to “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, an Indian worldview that embraces global brotherhood.
UAE’s Ambassador to India Abdulnasser Alshaali on Monday said that PM Modi’s visit is “very important” for the bilateral ties of the two countries. PM Modi will also hold talks with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where the two leaders will discuss ways to further expand and strengthen their strategic partnership.
PM Modi will also inaugurate the first Hindu temple — Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandit — in Abu Dhabi.
