MP Class 12 topper Anshika Mishra got 100 out of 100 in Chemistry, 98 out of 100 in Physics, 99 out of 100 in Mathematics, 97 out of 100 in Hindi and 99 out of 100 in English.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), Bhopal, released the results for the Classes 10 and 12 exams of 2024 on April 24. Students can check their MP Board High School, Higher Secondary and DPSD results on the official websites: mpbse.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, and mpresults.nic.in.

Anshika Mishra from Rewa district has brought laurels to the Vindhya region by getting rank 1 statewide in Class 12 in the science stream. Anshika accomplished this by scoring 493 out of 500 marks (98.6%). Anshika Mishra hails from a middle-class background. Her father works as a farmer, while her mother is a homemaker. Despite facing financial constraints, she pursued her goals through self-study.

Anshika, a student of Shiksha International Public School, scored 100 out of 100 in Chemistry, 98 out of 100 in Physics, 99 out of 100 in Mathematics, 97 out of 100 in Hindi and 99 out of 100 in English. Upon receiving the news of their daughter becoming the state topper, her parents were overjoyed. Talking to Local18, Anshika’s father expressed his delight at her achievement and extended gratitude to all the teachers.

Anshika Mishra attributed her success to her parents, school teachers and classmates who studied alongside her. She expressed her aspiration to pursue further studies and eventually become an IAS officer to serve society. The teachers and classmates at her school celebrated her achievement by offering sweets and extending their best wishes.

This year, the pass percentage for Class 12 is 64.48 per cent, marking an increase from the 55.28 per cent recorded in 2023. For Class 10, the overall pass percentage stands at 58.10 per cent. This year, the Class 12 exams took place between February 6 and March 20. The exams lasted for three hours, starting at 9 am and ending at noon. A total of 16 lakh candidates appeared for the Class 12 exam this year.

In the Class 12 examination results, 2,97,353 students secured the first division, while 1,24,552 got the second division. A total of 5,605 students got the third division.
