The students of Uttar Pradesh have also shown their glory in the results of JEE Main, an engineering entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Six students of the city’s Sri Sai Inter College in Barabanki: Hamza, Saksham, Saharsh, Kushagra, Mudit and Ayushi, have brought glory to the district by performing excellently in the exam, getting between 99 and 99.59 percentile.

More than 40 students scored more than 90 percentile marks from the district. In this regard, a celebratory mood prevailed from the college to the homes of these successful students on Thursday. College manager Surendra Verma said that four of these students are brilliant and have also scored top marks in the UP class 12 board exams.

Hamza Ansari’s father Abdul Majeed, who secured 99.59 percentile marks, is a teacher. After being honoured at Sri Sai Inter College, Hamza said that he wants to bring fame to the district by becoming an expert in computer science. The key to success is repetition and constant practice, he added.

Saharsh Srivastava of Awas Vikas Colony secured 99.43 percentile in JEE Main. His mother Priyanka is a homemaker and his father Sanjay Kumar Srivastava is the principal of Durga Mandir Inter College in Surajpur. Saharsh said he has listened to the words of his parents and teachers during his preparation.

Saksham Tiwari of Katra locality, who stood fifth in the state in the UP Board exam, has secured 99.41 per cent marks in the JEE Main exam. His father Atish Tiwari has a garment shop near Ghantaghar. Saksham said that marks in subjects should be made based on complete priority to achieve success.

Kushagra Baiswar, a resident of Satyapreminagar in the city has secured 99.15 per cent marks. His father Inderjit Singh is a teacher. Kushagra believes that one should have a fixed routine while preparing for an exam. It is important to concentrate on what you are reading and prepare for the exam with an open mind.

Umesh Chandra Arya of Vatiya village in Fatehpur is the deputy election officer in Shravasti. His daughter Ayushi secured 99 per cent marks. In a telephone conversation, Ayushi said that one should prepare for the exam with an open mind. For this purpose, all the materials should be collected before starting the study so that attention is not diverted.
