Shirin Sewani who is known for her role as Jasmeet in the popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is expecting her first child. While she has been part of interesting shows on TV and OTT, the actress has also established herself as a social media influencer and content creator. She married Udayan Sachan, a pilot by profession, back in 2020 and the duo are excited to enter the new phase of their life. In her latest interview, Shirin spoke about the changes in her life as she embraces parenthood.

In conversation with ETimes, Shirin Sewani stated, “This is probably one of the greatest phases in my life and I am enjoying every moment. While the pregnancy was not planned, we are overjoyed to be on the journey of parenthood. What makes it even more exciting is that I am continuing to work and create content for social media. It is important to stay happy and engaged during your pregnancy.” The actress further shared that her focus is more on staying happy and therefore she is not following any particular diet. She eats what she feels like and has no cravings so far. She added, “I have also started prenatal yoga into my routine to maintain flexibility.”

Speaking about bonding with her husband during this time, Shirin shared that Udayan is working extra hours currently so that he can be there with her during the delivery. She exclaimed, “I feel most content when he’s by my side.” Shirin Sewani and Udayan Sachan courted each other for about two months before getting married in an intimate courtroom ceremony since it was at the time of the pandemic.She had revealed earlier that the duo met at a friend’s party that both of them were trying to dodge.

Meanwhile, Shirin had quite established her career in the television and OTT platform but she prefers to work as a content creator. During the interview with ETimes, she said, “As an artiste, I have always sought out meaningful roles. I am now dedicating my time to content creation. I find the process of creating, directing and editing my own content incredibly satisfying.”

Shirin is known for her roles in shows like Kavach, Taj Mahal, Dev DD, Backpackers, Only For Singles among others.
