The latest episode of WWE’s Monday Night RAW emanated live from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
This week’s episode of RAW provided updates about the company’s upcoming pay-per-view Backlash which is set to be held next month.
A ton of action was advertised for the night starting with a WWE World Tag Team Championship title defence from Awesome Truth against DIY. The fans next witnessed the Celtic Warrior Sheamus compete in one-on-one action against Shinsuke Nakamura.
For the episode’s main event, a battle royal was held to crown a new WWE World Women’s Champion. A promo featuring Chad Gable also occurred on this week’s episode of RAW.
GUNTHER addresses The WWE Universe
About his title loss to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40, Gunther said that he had taken the Intercontinental championship to new heights.
Following a two-year title reign, he said that a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He thanked the crowd afterward.
The former Intercontinental Champion also revealed that he was already on to the next challenge with him set to be the first entrant in the 2024 Men’s King of the Ring match.
Sheamus and Drew McIntyre come face-to-face
As Drew McIntyre was cutting a promo, he got interrupted by Sheamus’ music. The Celtic Warrior then made his way to the ring and accused the Scottish superstar of refusing to take accountability for his humiliating World Heavyweight Championship loss.
McIntyre reverted by making a joke about Sheamus’ weight. The Scotsman further said he would watch Sheamus compete in his next match from ringside.
A few minutes later Shinsuke Nakamura made his way down the ramp for the awaited clash.
A new World Women’s Champion
WWE star Becky Lynch had her crowning moment on RAW’s latest episode as she won the World Women’s title in a battle royal.
The encounter between the two was a treat to the fans. Becky and Liv Morgan were the final two in the women’s battle royal as the duo charged at each other with right hands.
Next, Becky landed a kick to Morgan’s midsection who fired back with a codebreaker. Morgan then started setting up for the Oblivion but got countered by Becky into a Man Handle Slam. The Irish superstar then sent Morgan flying out of the ring, to the floor, to win the match.

DIY vs Awesome Truth for the WWE World Tag Team Championship – Awesome Truth retains their championship by pinfall, with an assisted Skull-Crushing Finale on Johnny Gargano.
The Imperium vs The New Day – The New Day secured a victory via pinfall.
Sheamus vs Shinsuke Nakamura – Sheamus claimed a win by pinfall after hitting Nakamura with the Brogue Kick.
Andrade el Idolo and Ricochet vs JD McDonagh and Santos Escobar- Andrade el Idolo and Ricochet hit JD McDonagh with the La Sombra to seal a pinfall win.
WWE World Women’s Championship Battle Royal- Becky Lynch won by eliminating Liv Morgan to become the new WWE World Women’s World Heavyweight Champion.
