Many purported videos show that Hamas travelled through vehicles, boats, and motorised paragliders to breach the security barrier and attack Israeli towns, residents, and military posts

Since Saturday, Palestinian “militant group” Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist organisation by Israel, Japan, and the US among other countries, has begun what it called ‘Operation Al Aqsa Flood’ against Tel Aviv.

The surprise attack or incursion by Hamas on Israel, which has now snowballed into a major escalation, has stunned the world, while Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a video message said that the country “is at war”.

Despite restricting and controlling various checkpoints with the Hamas-led Gaza Strip, the militias and military wing of the group managed to cross over and bombard various Israeli cities on Saturday.

Many purported videos on the internet show that Hamas entered Israel in vehicles like pickup trucks, boats, and even with motorised paragliders to breach the security barrier and attack Israeli towns, residents, and military posts.

This unverified video is supposedly showing a Hamas pickup truck in Sderot, located near the Gaza strip. The gunmen allegedly claimed that Hamas supporters were targeting some locations in the city.

Another purported video claims to show Hamas terrorists driving in truck convoys and allegedly taking over an Israel-Gaza checkpoint at Nahal Oz, Southern Israel near the Gaza border.

Another video viral on the microblogging site, X (formerly Twitter) alleges that some Hamas goons used Paragliders to travel and bombard cities near the Gaza Strip.

As reported by various agencies, at least 300 people have reported been killed in Israel, while Gaza authorities released a death count of 232 in the conflict’s bloodiest escalation in years which also left many hundreds wounded on both sides.

An Israeli army spokesman, Richard Hecht said that there are 22 locations where they and Hamas are engaged in confrontation. Several videos of Israeli children being kidnapped and tortured are also viral on social media citing the incidence of many war crimes. Hecht continued that Hamas will pay the price.
