The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2023 e-certificate and JRF award letter. Candidates can access the certificates on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The application number of the exam and date of birth of the candidates will be required to view and download the UGC NET 2023 e-certificate.

UGC NET December 2023 E-certificate and JRF Award Letter: How to Download?

Step 1: Visit the official NTA UGC NET website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Locate and click on the UGC NET December e-certificate section.

Step 3: To access your results, enter the candidate credentials, which include your birthdate and application number.

Step 4: View and download your UGC NET certificate online by going to the results tab after logging in.

Step 5: Print a copy of the same for your records.

The exam was administered between December 6 to December 14, 2023. A total of 9,45,918 applicants took the exam. NTA administered the UGC NET in 292 cities across the country, for a total of 83 subject areas. On January 3, 2024, the official website issued the answer key. Candidates had the opportunity to object to the UGC NET provisional answer key till January 5. The results were released on January 19. The UGC NET 2023 scorecard shows the candidate’s name, roll number, qualifying status, subject, percentage, rank, and total marks.

The UGC NET certificate is valid for three years for those applying for JRF positions. For the post of assistant professor/lectureship, the certificate is valid life-long. Candidates belonging to the unreserved category will have to score at least 40 per cent marks. Those belonging to the reserved category must score a minimum of 35 per cent marks.
