A Telangana intermediate first-year student died by suicide after the TS inter results 2024 were released on April 24. The student, who was pursuing a BiPC course from a college in the state, had allegedly failed in a subject, reported Telangana Today.

The student had slipped into depression and died by suicide at her house in Rajendarnagar on Wednesday. The girl hanged herself on the ceiling fan in her house, the report added. After receiving information, the police reached the house and sent the body for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered.

Another inter-first year student had also died by suicide at Subhashnagar in Srirampur on Thursday. The son of an auto driver, Nunswath Aravind had allegedly failed in mathematics and was disappointed with his results. Another student in Kollur and another in Khammam had also died by suicide after the results were declared on Wednesday, the news agency reported.
