Meta has started rolling out two new features for its Twitter rival Threads app. The Threads app has received the edit feature and support for Voice Threads.
As reported by The Verge, the Thread posts which are edited will sport a little icon placed next to the timestamp highlighting that it has been edited. The report also suggests that presently, users will not be able to access the edit history on Threads.
On the other hand, the Voice Threads feature will enable the users to record and share voice notes on the platform. Users are allowed to post and reply to voice notes on Threads. Using Voice Threads is as simple as tapping the microphone icon to begin recording. An automatic caption for the audio clip is generated, giving users the option to edit it according to their preferences.
