The fifth day of Shuklapaksha in the month of Magha is celebrated as Vasant Panchami. Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom, learning, knowledge, music and art. Saraswati Puja is being celebrated on February 14, this year Saraswati Puja is very important, especially for all students. On the occasion of Saraswati Puja, various schools, colleges, and universities will be closed.
Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal have issued guidelines for school holidays on Saraswati Puja. The school will be closed on this day for the worship of Goddess Saraswati.
Last-minute preparations for Vasant Panchami are going on in every school and college. Some educational institutions have given a one-day holiday on Vasant Panchami. Many students participate in school events. But in many places, Vasant Panchami has been declared as a holiday.
Apart from Saraswati Puja Day, there are other holidays in February. Students can get leave in February for Guru Rabidas Jayanti, Vasant Panchami, and other events. However, guidelines have been issued that the school will declare holidays on a discretionary basis.
