Al Hilal may try to rope in Casemiro, while another club from the Saudi Pro League is interested in securing the signature of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.

Two Manchester United stars – Jadon Sancho and Casemiro – have reportedly come under the radar of Saudi Arabian clubs. Both footballers are believed to be ready to part ways with the Premier League side when the transfer window opens in January next year.

According to sports journalist Ben Jacobs, Al Hilal may try to rope in Casemiro, while another club from the Saudi Pro League is interested in securing the signature of Sancho. However, the name of the team that is keeping track of Sancho was not revealed by Jacobs. He broke the news through a post on X where he also hinted at Ruben Neves’ potential loan move to Newcastle United.

“Understand Ruben Neves is open to a loan move to Newcastle United FC. The deal could even have an option to buy. Nothing clearer until after the EPL vote on November 21 regarding associated party transactions. Al-Hilal could look at Casemiro in 2024 and are also one club considering Jadon Sancho,” Ben Jacobs wrote.

Jadon Sancho has not played club football since being axed from Manchester United’s first team by boss Erik Ten Tag. The Dutch manager turned his back on Sancho, following a feud over the footballer’s performance in training. The controversial situation transpired after Manchester United suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in a Premier League fixture back in September.

Sancho did nothing but warm the bench during the away game at the Emirates Stadium. Speaking at the post-match presser, Ten Hag referred to Sancho’s below-par performance in training as the reason behind his snub from the starting eleven.

Sancho was quick to hit back at the claim. In a now-deleted post on X, the 23-year-old wrote, “Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue” while calling himself a “scapegoat.”

Earlier, a report by the Telegraph claimed that several Saudi Arabia clubs were interested in signing Jadon Sancho during the winter transfer, with Al-Ettifaq, managed by English legend Steven Gerrard, having the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Casemiro has been out of action for quite some time now due to a hamstring injury. The Brazilian midfielder is expected to become fully fit by the end of December. Casemiro shifted his base to England in August 2022, signing a £70 million deal. The former Real Madrid man was a key to Manchester United’s Carabao Cup triumph last season.
