Riddhima Pandit Begins Work On New Project, Says ‘Acting Is Not Just Glamour’ – News18

TV actress Ridhima Pandit, known for her role in Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant, has worked in a number of shows. While Ridhima has been away from the limelight for a while now, she will reportedly make her big debut with a Marathi film, set to release early next year. Despite being away, Ridhima still manages to remain connected with her fans and interacts with them regularly. Recently, she shared a long note on Instagram, giving a major hit back to people who undermine the acting profession.

Along with a video of herself seated inside a car, Ridhima shared her hectic work routine, stating that she woke up at 3.30 AM, travelled one hour from 4 AM to 5 AM for shooting, got ready, and worked on the sets at 6 in the morning.

“Whoever said being an actor was easy must come watch us shoot in 40 degress of maddening heat on a good day, with layers of makeup- emoting- dancing-performing stunts-still looking glamorous with our makeup melting,” she further added. The actress also hailed the whole team for her shoot and continued, “Acting as a profession is not just glamour.. It’s a lot of physical and mental work coming to play..baaki kya kehna, lag raho doston “All izzz well.”

According to a Hindustan Times report, Ridhima also spoke about her upcoming Maratha film and said that the film is directed by Satish Rajwade and is expected to be released in early 2025.

She further spoke about pursuing a foothold in Bollywood. “I am really trying hard to set foot in Bollywood in the future. But, it is really disheartening to not get the opportunities. I don’t want to sound bitter, but there are days when I wake up highly frustrated and helpless. I am not getting the kind of work that I know I can do or should be doing. It is about the lack of opportunities,” the actress added. On the other hand, Ridhima also emphasised that television has been her steadfast companion and has given her a name. “It gives financial security and lets you hold on until you decide what to do next,” she said.

Ridhima Pandit begins new shooting

The television actress recently shared a few pictures of herself on Instagram and announced plans to start a new project.

“Cheers to the magic of New Beginnings, Messy Hair, Dirty feet, pretty flowers .. yours truly is shooting for something that she has been waiting for a very very long time,” she wrote in the caption; however, didn’t reveal any information about the project.
