OPSC Recruitment 2024: Registration for 928 Assistant Executive Engineer Posts Begins – News18

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has started the online registration process for the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the posts through the official website of Odisha Public Service Commission at opsc.gov.in. It is to be noted that the last date to apply for the Assistant Executive Engineer posts is until February 26.

OPSC Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details

An additional 348 posts in the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) have been added to the existing 580 posts against Advt. No. 19 of 2023-24. The recruitment drive is conducted to fill up a total of 928 posts in the organisation. The category-wise breakup is mentioned below.

Unreserved (UR):486 posts

Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC): 116 posts

Scheduled Caste (SC):190 posts

Scheduled Tribe (ST):136 posts

OPSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s of Engineering from a recognised institution and have qualified the GATE in the CE (Civil Engineering).

Age Limit: The age of a candidate must not be below 18 as of January 1, 2023 and above 38 years of age as of January 1, 2021. However, for reserved category candidates, there will be upper-age relaxation.

OPSC Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection of the candidate for the post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) under the Water Resources, Works and H&UD Department will be based on a single stage, which is an interview round. Aspirants who apply online on or before Feb 12, 2023 will be called for the interview round.
