Anshu Abhishek, son of Prabhakar Tiwari and Vibha Tiwari has made his family and district proud with his success in the UPSC results. He is a resident of Jhumritilaiya Vishunpur Road, Koderma. Despite working in a private company, Anshu Abhishek achieved this feat with a proper study routine and practising online study materials and test series.
Recently, Anshu Abhishek shared with Local 18 that he was inspired by newspaper stories about civil servants’ public service efforts. He was motivated to pursue a career in civil services to serve the community.
Anshu completed his 10th grade in 2007 and his 12th grade in 2009 from PVSS DAV Public School, Jhumri Tilaiya. After high school, he obtained a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur in 2015.
He revealed that after finishing his engineering degree, he spent three years working at both Sony International and Vowing International. During this time, he devoted his free time to preparing for the UPSC exam while managing his job duties. Anshu noted that despite his efforts, he missed the interview rounds twice and encountered setbacks for some reasons. Nonetheless, he achieved the 602nd rank in the UPSC exam on his third attempt.
Anshu Abhishek, following his 8-hour workday, devoted his time to studying online. He highlighted the importance of regularly practising test series to evaluate his weak areas. Anshu stressed the significance of solving numerous test series to succeed in the UPSC exam. With his UPSC rank, he may secure a position in the Indian Revenue Service. He mentioned that his brother works as a Bank PO, while his sister is pursuing a PhD at Ranchi University.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2023 on April 16th. Aditya Srivastava claimed the top position, followed by Animesh Pradhan in second place, and Donuru Ananya Reddy in third place. Additionally, this year, 31 candidates from Jamia Millia Islamia have cleared the UPSC examination.
