With the DMK joining the INDIA bloc and the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) losing the support of the AIADMK, the state’s political landscape has been significantly altered ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

The ruling DMK’s controversial statements about Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma in recent months have also stirred up political skirmishes with the BJP. The saffron party led by its charismatic state chief K Annamalai is looking to reshape its electoral fortunes in the southern state.

Covering 518 Lok Sabha constituencies across 21 major states, the News18 Network Mega Opinion Poll, airing on March 13 and March 14, features a massive sample size of over 1,18,616 respondents, representing 95% of Lok Sabha constituencies and making it one of the largest surveys in the country.

It provides valuable insights into the political landscape of India, offering a detailed analysis of voter sentiment and preferences ahead of the upcoming general elections.
