A Houthi anti-ship cruise missile came within a mile of a US destroyer before it was shot down on January 30. Four US officials told CNN that this was the closest a Houthi attack has come to a US warship. According to the officials, these missiles are intercepted by US destroyers around eight miles or more away from the ship.
