Prachi Nigam, who topped in this year’s Uttar Pradesh Class 10 board exams with an outstanding 98.5%, has spoken up against online bullies who have been targeting her for her facial hair. She stated that her academic achievements matter more than her appearance.

“When I saw that people were trolling me, it didn’t bother me much. My marks matters, not my facial hair,” Prachi stated, remaining unaffected by the negative comments about her appearance.

Prachi also expressed gratitude towards those who stood by her during the online trolling and criticism of her appearance.

“When my picture was shared on social media as the UP Board examination topper, some people trolled me. At the same time, there were people who supported me. I want to thank them all,” she said.

“Even Chanyakya was trolled for his appearance and looks, but it didn’t affect him either,” she said, as per NDTV report.

Prachi’s photo, shared after the announcement of the UP board results, garnered significant attention and sparked debate on social media. While some criticised her facial hair, others showed support for the teenager and congratulated her on her performance in the board examination.

Following the intense trolling, the online community rallied in support of Prachi, condemning the negative comments and expressing concern for her well-being.

According to sources, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached out to Prachi, encouraging her to concentrate on her studies and pursue her dreams.
