Indore class 12 student Aditya Humane has taken the top spot in the state with a score of 90.80 percent in the arts stream. Aditya, who comes from a fairly simple household, is completely blind in one eye. Due to the weakness in his other sight, he experiences difficulties in both bright and dark ambience. Aditya, however, did not allow his physical limitations to hinder his academic pursuits.

Aditya stated that his mother Umita Devi deserves all the credit for his achievement. He shared that he had put in a lot of effort for the exam for the 12th grade because of his support. He said, “My mother never failed to inspire me and taught me that facing challenges does not mean giving up. Instead, difficulties must be overcome.”

Aditya revealed that in 2012, his father passed away from a heart attack. Her mother was left in charge of the home at that time. To help with home expenditures, she began working as a domestic helper. Aditya said he doesn’t know what he would be doing now if his mother hadn’t inspired him.

He declared his desire to become a lawyer and took the CLAT exam. “I’m also attempting to get ready for competitive tests. My favourite topic is political science. Additionally, I took the CLAT exam recently. I want to make my mother proud. The two of us in the family are the centre of each other’s existence,” he added.

Aditya shared that one of his eyes has been damaged since he was a little child. After some operation procedures, he temporarily regained his vision. Then he developed total blindness for no apparent cause. The other eye is incapable of surviving in low light or with extreme brightness. Because of this, learning is challenging, but he gains more courage from his mother’s bravery.
