Bhumika Khaneja wants to become a collector.
Bhumika Khaneja’s brother Hansraj is the sole earning member of the family and works in a finance company.
The Madhya Pradesh Board Class 10 and Class 12 results were declared on April 24, at 4 pm. A student named Bhumika Khaneja hailing from the Sindhi Colony, Burhanpur district has emerged as a topper in the Science stream. As per the Local18 Madhya Pradesh, she is an alumnus of the Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School, Burhanpur.
Bhumika has scored 473 marks out of 500 (94.6 per cent) and her family is happy with this milestone. The Burhanpur girl had to endure tough circumstances to achieve this goal as her father Anil is unemployed due to health ailments and her mother Jyoti is a homemaker. Her brother Hansraj is the sole earning member of the family and works in a finance company. Bhumika’s school fee was waived and Hansraj used to bear her coaching expenses.
Dr Harshit Dixit, the principal of Seva Sadan Higher Secondary School revealed that Bhumika had topped the Burhanpur district in Class 10 as well. Therefore, his institution decided to waive her fee. The principal added that their institution takes such steps to ensure that the students receive all the support needed to achieve well-paid jobs in the district. According to the principal, their school has been implementing this scheme for the past 15 years.
Bhumika reached the school with her parents after receiving the news of her accomplishment. She touched the feet of the principal and teachers and took blessings. She expressed happiness at topping the district by scoring a brilliant 473 marks. The Seva Sedan school alumni also revealed that she used to study 3-4 hours regularly to achieve this excellent academic result. The Burhanpur student’s family and school have left no stone unturned to celebrate this joyous moment with her. They were seen on camera feeding sweets to her. Motivated by this accomplishment in her life, Bhumika now aspires to become a collector.
