Lok Sabha Election 2024 LIVE Updates: With the first phase of Lok Sabha polls around the corner, Congress is set to release its manifesto for the upcoming elections today (April 5) with its focus on the five ‘pillars of justice’. The manifesto would be released by party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former party presidents Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. In its manifesto, the Congress will emphasise ‘Paanch Nyay’ or five pillars of justice, including ‘Yuva Nyay’, ‘Naari Nyay’, ‘Kisaan Nyay’, ‘Shramik Nyay’ and ‘Hissedari Nyay’ as well as the guarantees made by it to the people as part of its poll promises for 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said the party is releasing its vision document ‘after vast deliberations with people from across the country’. A day after the launch of the manifesto, Kharge and the Gandhis will address public rallies in Jaipur and Hyderabad where they will also highlight the key elements of the manifesto.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is upping the ante against the Opposition and will be campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan today. He is set to address rallies in Churu and Jhunjhunu on Friday.
