In good news for budget mobile phone users in India, the domestic smartphone brand Lava on Thursday launched its latest affordable Lava Blaze 2 5G handset in the country. The new budget device from Lava comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, 50MP main camera and 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging.

The smartphone will be available in two variants 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The Lava Blaze 2 5G base variant is priced at Rs 9,999 and higher model costs Rs 10,999.

The handset is offered in Glass Black, Glass Blue and Glass Lavender colour options and will be available pan India across Lava’s retail network, Amazon.in and Lavamobiles online store from 9th November. The company is also offering after-sales consumer experience, giving free service at home to the customers.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Specifications

Lava Blaze 2 5G has a ring light around the rear camera module. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.56 HD+IPS Punch Hole Display with 2.5D Curved Screen and 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 Processor with an AnTuTu score of 3,90,000+. The device also comes with UFS 2.2 memory and expandable up to 1 TB.

The Lava Blaze 2 5G runs on Android 13 and offers no ads and no bloatware. It also comes with auto-call recording and features a side fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes with a promised upgrade to Android 14 and two years of quarterly security updates. The device is also backed by a large 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging

Coming to the cameras, the new budget Lave phone is coming with 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for selfies and videos calls. It also equipped with inbuilt camera features and modes — Film, Slow Motion, Timelapse, UHD, Gif, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters and Intelligent Scanning.
