Once the candidate has passed the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), they can get appointments in government bodies like Railways, Ordnance Factory, Hospital, Municipal Corporation, Disaster Management and Fire Department. Apart from that, many big multinational companies, especially those in the healthcare sector, give direct appointments to young candidates who have passed the CMS exam.
