JEE Advanced 2024 Exam on May 26, Registration Begins on April 21 – News18

The schedule for Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2024 has been published by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Those candidates who rank in the top 2.5 lakh and pass the JEE Main test are eligible to register for the JEE Advanced starting April 21, 2024, at 5 pm. The schedule for JEE Advanced 2024, as well as the registration link, will be available at jeeadv.ac.in.

The JEE Advanced 2024 will be held on May 26, 2024, across the country at various exam venues. The JEE Advanced 2024 test will be given in two shifts: Paper I is scheduled to take place from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Candidates have until April 30, 2024, to submit their applications. The registration and application processes will only be available online. Candidates who have enrolled have until May 6, 2024, to pay their fees. The admit card will be available for download from May 17 to May 26, 2024.

JEE Advanced 2024: Important Dates

The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 online registration will commence on June 9 and conclude on June 10. The AAT test will be held on June 12 in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 pm. The AAT results will be revealed on June 15, 2024. The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024 procedure is expected to commence on June 10. Candidates may get additional information on the official JEE Advanced website.

For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other universities, students who pass the JEE Advanced must show up for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling session after the results are made public. JoSAA conducts counselling for a total of 118 institutions. Each year, JoSAA holds up to six rounds of counselling for admission to the various IITs.
