The US House of Representatives cleared an aid package of $26.38bn for Israel on April 20. The bill was passed 366-58 with 37 Democrats and 21 Republicans in opposition. Although the bill earmarks funds for humanitarian aid, it prohibits funding for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).
