Israeli forces on April 1 pulled out of Gaza’s largest hospital complex after a two-week military operation. Israel launched its operation on March 18, and described it as a “precise” one targeting Hamas militants it accused of operating from the complex. Israel had previously said that 200 militants had been killed in fighting in and around Al-Shifa. The Israeli army also released footage it claimed showed weapons and money seized from the hospital that had been used by Hamas. Palestinian residents say the Israeli military has left behind a vast swath of destruction at al-Shifa. Watch the video to know more.
