Palak stated that clearing the UPSC examination was her dream which she accomplished in her fourth attempt.

The highly-anticipated result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination was announced on Tuesday. As per the released result of UPSC CSE, Aditya Srivastava secured the first position while Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy came second and third, respectively.

In the UPSC, as many as 347 general candidates, 115 EWS candidates, 303 OBC applicants, 165 SC and 86 ST candidates have qualified successfully. Among the 1016 securing UPSC candidates, Palak Goyal, hailing from Narmadapuram, has grabbed AIR 479.

While talking to Local18, Palak Goyal mentioned that she has completed her schooling at Narmada Valley International Public School in the city. Later Palak went to the Khalsa College of Delhi University for further studies. During college, Palak pursued Political Science as her subject while preparing for the UPSC examination.

Palak stated that clearing the UPSC examination was her dream which she has now accomplished in her fourth attempt. While talking about her technique of preparing for the examination, Palak mentioned that she used to study for nearly 6 to 8 hours a day. However, she also used the internet from time to time for entertainment and educational purposes.

On her success, Palak credited her grandfather Kamal Kishore Goyal, her father Narendra Goyal, and her mother Ranjana Goyal who have not only helped her during her preparations but also encouraged and motivated her. Apart from them, Palak also thanked her teachers for their guidance.

According to Palak, she has been studying in Delhi since 2016. Meanwhile, her mother, Ranjana Goyal, mentioned that the family was organising a feast for the girls after the Goddess Durga puja on Ashtami when Palak came to know about her UPSC result. She mentioned that she was astonished to know the result. She felt that Goddess Durga had given her blessing in this way. Ranjana Goyal also said that her family and friends were against Palak’s coaching so far away, but they did not listen to anyone and let her study there for a better future.
