PM Modi explained that when he first campaigned in 2014, voters hoped for a change that he was able to deliver. By 2019, that hope had turned into a belief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reflected on his journey as the leader of India from 2014 to 2024 and said that he began his tenure with the hope of offering development to people, which has now turned into a guarantee for the people.

During an exclusive interview with Asianet, PM Modi explained that when he first campaigned in 2014, voters hoped for a change as they were fed up with the previous government, a hope he was able to deliver. By 2019, that hope had turned into a belief, and now in 2024, people take his word as a guarantee because they know that “Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai.”

“When our party won the majority and we formed a government, voters, for the first time have seen what a stable government can do. I first turned their hope into belief by our policies and now in 2024, that belief is converted into a guarantee. People take my word for a guarantee,” said PM Modi.

Expressing confidence that the BJP will form a government for the third term, PM Modi said he believes his vote share will only rise this time and that he will continue to serve the nation.

“I bring guarantee to the table and with my experience as a chief minister for over a decade and a PM for a decade, people believe in me when I assure them of development,” he added.

About various recruitment scams and irregularities in the process, PM Modi said, “I believe in giving equal opportunities to people. Our digital approach to recruitment has reduced corruption.”

Cong Yuvraj Now Looking For 3rd Constituency As He Will Lose Wayanad

Prime Minister Modi also took a veiled dig at Rahul Gandhi, whom he referred to as ‘Congress Ka Yuvraj’ and predicted that he would lose the election from his second constituency Wayanad as well.

In 2019, Gandhi lost the Lok Sabha polls from UP’s Amethi seat, which has been a stronghold of the Congress party since its onset.

“Congress’s Yuvraj lost from Amethi in 2019, he will now lose the Wayanad parliamentary seat and now he is waiting to announce a 3rd seat for himself,” PM Modi said.
