FMGE June 2024 Registration Begins at nbe.edu.in; Check Eligibility Criteria, Application Process – News18

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2024 registration process has commenced. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) began the application process on their official website at nbe.edu.in on April 29.

The FMGE has been scheduled for July 6, 2024. Candidates may apply for the FMGE until May 20, 2024. The application edit window will be open from May 24 to May 28, 2024. All the candidates applying for the exam can rectify their errors related to the document uploads in the application from June 21 to June 24. The NBEMS will declare the results for the FMGE June 2024 by August 6, 2024.

FMGE June 2024: Eligibility Criteria

— The candidates should have to be a citizen of India or an Indian Overseas Citizen.

— The candidate must hold a primary medical qualification that is verified by the Indian Embassy, to be a recognised qualification to enroll as a medical practitioner in the country where the institution granting the said qualification is located.

— The final examination result for the primary medical qualification should have been released on or before April 30, 2024.

FMGE June 2024: How to Apply? Follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences at nbe.edu.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the FMGE June 2024 tab.

Step 3: Look for the ‘Application’ link and click on it.

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page. Scroll down and click on the ‘Register’ tab.

Step 5: A registration form will appear on the screen. Fill in all the information carefully and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 6: Complete the registration process and pay the application fee of Rs 6195.

FMGE June 2024: Application Fees

In order to complete the application process for the exam all the candidates need to submit a fee of Rs 6,195.

The exam will consist of a single paper comprising 300 multiple-choice questions divided into two parts (150 for each part). To successfully pass the exam the candidates need to score a minimum of 150 marks. No marks will be deducted for any wrong attempts.
