The official notification, accessible on the Department of Atomic Energy’s official website at dae.gov.in, outlines the recruitment process for a total of 62 vacancies. Among these, 17 positions are available for Junior Purchase Assistant (JPA), while the remaining 45 positions fall under the Junior Shopkeeper post (JSK).
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates aspiring to apply for these positions should hold a graduation degree in the Science subject with a minimum of 60 per cent marks. Alternatively, candidates with a graduation degree in the commerce subject, scoring 60 per cent, or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science with 60 per cent marks from recognized universities or institutions are also eligible.
Age Limit:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 27 years. Additionally, there will be permissible relaxations in the upper age limit based on the candidate’s category.
Salary Package:
Selected candidates for these vacant positions will be offered a salary package ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 under Level 4.

Candidates are required to select three examination centres from the options provided in the application form based on their preferences. The allocation of exam centres will be determined based on the number of candidates registering for each city.
