CSBC Constable Recruitment 2023: The exams to be held on October 7 and 15 have been postponed. Candidates have now demanded CSBC to cancel the exam held on October 1
The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has postponed the Bihar Police Constable exam due to a paper leak. The exam was scheduled to be held on October 1, 7, and 15 in two shifts but is now postponed till further notice. The exam was held on October 1 but a few candidates were allegedly caught cheating in the exam using electronic devices. Those candidates have been arrested on the spot. As per reports, the exams to be held on October 7 and 15 have been postponed. The exam held on October 1 also stands cancelled.
The new exam dates are likely to be announced soon. The CSBC recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 21,391 constable vacancies in Bihar police. A total of 529 exam centres across 37 districts in Bihar have been set up to conduct the exams.

The written examination will have 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. Aspirants need to complete the test within the stipulated time of 2 hours. Moreover, talking about the marking scheme, candidates will be rewarded 1 mark for each correct answer. However, there is no negative marking for this exam.
Candidates should further note that the selection process will be held in four stages. Starting from the online written examination, the candidates have to go through a physical standard test and physical efficiency test if they qualify for the written examination. Then, a document verification and medical examination will be conducted to finalise the eligible candidates for the offered posts.
