CLAT 2024: Those who have passed the entrance test will be asked to register for the admissions counselling process between December 12 and December 22
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 results today, December 10. The CLAT 2024 result may be downloaded from the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2024 took place this year on December 3. The provisional answer key was made available on December 4, and applicants had until December 5 to submit their objections to it.
The final answer key has also been released. Two questions have been withdrawn — one from the Legal Reasoning portion and one from the English Language portion. Candidates will thus be scored on a scale of 118 marks instead of 120 marks.
Those who pass the CLAT 2024 will be asked to register for the admissions counselling process. From December 12 to December 22, individuals can register for the same and pay the registration fees for counselling.
CLAT 2024 RESULT: HOW TO CHECK
Step 1. Open the official website of CLAT 2024 at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the link to CLAT 2023 result available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials as required
Step 3. The CLAT 2024 result will appear on the screen.
Step 4. Download and print a copy of the result for future use.
To be eligible for admission to undergraduate and graduate-level courses, candidates from unreserved categories must pass the test with a minimum score of 40 per cent. According to the Consortium’s passing criteria, the minimum score required for candidates in the reserved category is 35 per cent.
This year, the CLAT test syllabus and format was revised as CNLU had previously indicated. As a result, instead of 150 questions, the CLAT 2024 included a total of 120 questions. According to the marking scheme, applicants received one mark for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks were deducted for each incorrect response.
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level test for admission to UG and PG law programmes at the country’s 23 National Law Universities (NLUs). CLAT 2024 scores will be used by 61 non-NLU associate institutions for enrollment to 5-year integrated UG and PG law courses, classes for which begin next year.
