The weekly wrestling event was conducted at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Four WWE Draft rounds were held during the episode. A total of 16 superstars were drafted on the night, including stars like Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Bianca Belair.
The WWE Draft 2024 rounds were held in full swing on the April 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The weekly wrestling event was conducted at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Four WWE Draft rounds were held during the episode. A total of 16 superstars were drafted on the night, including stars like Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Bianca Belair. Following Night 1 of the WWE Draft, the company revealed the roster shuffle for other NXT superstars on social media. The brands for wrestlers including Baron Corbin, Zoey Stark and Ivar were announced in this update.
The said four draft rounds were conducted in the order – SmackDown-RAW-SmackDown-RAW. The brands’ managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce made two choices apiece per every draft round.
Round 1 –
– Bianca Belair was drafted to SmackDown
– Jey Uso moved to RAW
– Carmelo Hayes was drafted to SmackDown
– Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins moved to RAW
Round 2 –
– The Apex Predator ‘Randy Orton’ was drafted to SmackDown
– Bron Breakker moved to RAW
– Nia Jax remained on SmackDown
– Liv Morgan was drafted to RAW
Round 3 –
– LA Knight remained on SmackDown
– Ricochet stayed on RAW
– Other Bloodline members including Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Paul Heyman were drafted to SmackDown
– The Celtic Warrior Sheamus moved to RAW
Round 4
– The Phenomenal AJ Styles was drafted to SmackDown
– Members of the Alpha Academy including Chad Gable, Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri moved to RAW
– Andrade was shifted to SmackDown
– Kiana James was announced for RAW
Another supplemental draft round followed once the show went off-air. They include-
– Cedric Alexander and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis were drafted on SmackDown
– Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn moved to RAW
– Baron Corbin was promoted to SmackDown
– Ivar moved to RAW
– The OC members including Michin, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were shifted to SmackDown
– Shayna Baszler moved to RAW
– Zoey Stark was also promoted to RAW
The Night 2 of the WWE Draft will be hosted on next week’s Monday Night RAW Episode. In the upcoming event, six more rounds of the WWE Draft will be conducted. The finalised rosters will be active after the RAW episode following WWE Backlash. The premium live event is set to be hosted at the LDLC Arena in Decines-Charpieu in Lyon Metropolis, France on May 4. Cody Rhodes is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against AJ Styles at WWE Backlash.
