‘Chandrababu Naidu Never Bows Down Before Anyone’: Nara Lokesh on TDP Chief’s Arrest – News18

TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Saturday said that former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and his father N Chandrababu Naidu never bows down his head before anyone as integrity and ethics are his weapons.

Talking about his imprisonment, Lokesh said Naidu never imagined that he would have to face this kind of situation in life adding that the leader is no new to struggles and led his party strongly even in the most difficult times.

Recalling how his grandfather late NT Rama Rao came back to power within a month as the entire Telugu community stood by him when the late PM Indira Gandhi dethroned him, Lokesh said that the struggle then was different from what his party was facing now.

“We are now fighting with a psycho and a devil, the Chief Minister, Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Lokesh said.

Lokesh further added that when he went to meet Naidu in jail, the former chief minister told them that the party leaders should wage their war only in a peaceful manner and bring awareness among the people.

The TDP General Secy also added that his party and Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena have decided to sail together to save Andhra Pradesh from the current regime. He said that the party is confident of winning 160 assembly seats in the state in collaboration with Jan Sena.

Lokesh also announced that the Yuva Galam Pada Yatra will soon be revived.

Expressing confidence that the Chandrababu Naidu will soon come out, Lokesh ibn an apparent attack at Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Some people believe that if Mr Chandrababu is arrested the TDP will come to an end but we have a history of facing such struggles.”

The TDP leader also attacked the YSRCP government for not doing anything for Andhra Pradesh’s development and said the chief minister took no initiative to construct a new road or to build any irrigation project in the state.

Lokesh also told the TDP general body that there is a massive anti-incumbency in the state which is only growing and called upon the party leaders to go to the people and bring awareness among them on various issues.
