Bihar Board Matric Result 2024: Scrutiny, Compartmental Exam Registration Begins Today – News18

The Bihar Board is all set to commence the matriculation or class 10 examination 2024 scrutiny process registrations today, April 3. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore had earlier said that students who were unable to pass the matric exam may fill out the online application form for the matric scrutiny process and compartmental examination from April 3 to April 9. The results of the compartment exam will be declared by May 31.

To pass the board exam, it is necessary to get at least 33 per cent marks. Those getting marks less than this will be considered failed.  According to the rules of the Bihar Board, if a student fails in one or two subjects then s/he can take the compartment examination. The schedule of the compartment examination will be released by the board soon. For compartment examination, students have to pay a fixed fee per subject.

Furthermore, those whose marks are lower can also increase their marks.  Students unhappy with the marks obtained in the Bihar Board Matriculation examination can get their marks scrutinised. However, only the marks obtained after scrutiny are considered final. Like the compartment exam, a separate registration fee has to be deposited for the scrutiny process.

Bihar Board Matric Result 2024 Scrutiny Process: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website — bsebinter.org.

Step 2: Click on the scrutiny process application form link.

Step 3: Fill up all the required details and select all the subjects you want to apply for scrutiny or for compartmental exams.

Step 4: Make payment and click on submit.

Step 5: Download the confirmation page and get a print out of it.

A total of 16,64,252 students took the exam this year. Out of this, 13,79,542 have passed the exam successfully and are eligible to take admission in class 11. This means, 82.91 per cent of the students have cleared the BSEB matric exam. A total of 51 students have made it to the top 10. As many as four students have secured rank 3. Shivankar Kumar from Purnia district has secured rank 1 in the state with 97.80 per cent. A total of 4,52,302 students have secured first division, 5,24,965 second division, and 3,80,732 third division.
