Bigg Boss 9 fame and poet Priya Malik is beaming with joy as she announces the arrival of her newest family member with husband Karan Bakshi. The couple has been blessed with a baby boy whom they lovingly named Zorawar. They welcomed their little munchkin on March 24, just a day before Holi. Priya shared the delightful news with her followers on Instagram through a video.

In the stop-motion animated clip, the couple is seen cradling their bundle of joy. “Welcoming our world into this world, Baby Zorawar!” Priya wrote in the caption.

The comment section was flooded with an outpouring of congratulatory messages and love from fans and followers. One user expressed, “Congratulations dear, can’t wait to meet the little one,” while another commented, “Best birth announcement I’ve ever seen.”

On February 7, 2024, Priya and Karan shared the exciting news of their pregnancy through a series of photos from her maternity shoot. The photos featured Priya alongside her husband and their pet cat. In the caption, she wrote, “Mother is mothering.”

Earlier, while speaking to ETimes, Priya revealed that she had experienced a miscarriage within the first three months of her pregnancy before conceiving again. She further said that while pregnancy is commonly talked about, the topic of miscarriage is often overlooked. “I remember how, after I got pregnant again, every ultrasound would feel like an exam that you are scared you may fail. You don’t know when to celebrate with everyone. You don’t know whether to feel anxious, excited, or nervous, but gradually, you do learn to trust your body,” she added.

Speaking about the new phase, the 36-year-old actress described herself as a protective mother. She said, “I will be very overprotective and clingy mom.”

After her divorce in 2018, Priya Malik got engaged to Delhi-based entrepreneur Karan Bakshi in 2019. They later tied the knot on October 10, 2022.
