In an interview to Times Of India (TOI), Pratik Sehajpal opened up about the profound influence Salman Khan has had on him, both professionally and personally. Reflecting on the impact of Salman’s movies, Pratik said, “His films, like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tere Naam, resonate with me. Even in Tubelight, he shines. I admire Salman Khan’s films and his persona, not just his roles. His personal life is as inspiring to me as his acting.”

When questioned about the potential of collaborating with Salman Khan, Pratik eagerly revealed, “Working with Salman Khan is something I’m looking forward to in my career. He’s an incredible person. I’ve heard many positive things about him and have had the opportunity to see him up close, especially during my time on Bigg Boss. His demeanor and personality are impressive. From what I’ve observed, he’s not just good but truly great.”

Reflecting on his memorable encounter with Salman Khan during Bigg Boss 15, Pratik fondly reminisced, “When I saw Salman Khan on stage during Big Boss 15, it was a surreal moment. My entry, along with Shamita and Nishant, made me wave from behind, and his nod of acknowledgment meant a lot to me. Though I was nervous, his presence made me feel oddly comfortable. During the Big Boss finale, he gave me a valuable tip to speak slowly, which I’ve been practicing since. His words about never stopping to seek work deeply resonated with me.”

Pratik also shared a touching moment when Salman Khan gave him his own T-shirt to change into, which was a gesture of kindness. “Though people assumed he brought a blazer for me, he insisted it would go to whoever it fit. It was a sweet moment that showcased his kindness. Big Boss was a significant experience in my life, followed by Khatron Ke Khiladi, which humbled me down. Now, I’m focusing on my acting craft, aiming to be the best artist for myself,” he told TOI.

After his time on reality TV, Pratik is now concentrating on getting better at acting. “My sole focus now is on honing my craft, particularly my acting. I strive to become the best artist for myself. When I portray scenes sincerely on screen, such as in Jab Mila Tu, many resonate deeply with viewers. Director Lalit sir has particularly appreciated them. It brings me immense joy when people mention how they’re moved to tears by my performances, whether it’s in Jab Mila Tu or during my time in Bigg Boss. Their emotional connection is what truly matters to me,” he said.
