Apple Scary Fast event promises to bring new Macs, and M-series chip

Apple is hosting its last event for 2023 where it is expected that the company will announce the new M3 chips and some products powering it.

Apple is not done with its launch event for 2023 and the next one is going to be about Macs and probably the new M3 chipset. We saw the new iPhone 15 series launch in September and it is likely that the company will end the year with the new Macs in the market. Apple has confirmed the Scary Fast event that is happening this week at a very un-Apple-like timing which means people across different parts of the world will be seeing the live event at different times, some even going to the next day.

Apple Scary Fast Event Timings And Where To Watch

Apple Scary Fast event will be a virtual event which will be livestreamed on Apple Events page from 5 PM PT onwards, which comes to 5:30 AM on October 31 for those watching the event in India. You can also tune into Apple’s YouTube page to get all the updates from the live event. Apple also has a reminder feature for people on its social channels so you can get a ping from the company on the event day.

Apple Scary Fast Event: What To Expect

Apple is rumoured to be bringing new Macs to the event, which seem to have been confirmed with a product teaser on the company’s page. The teaser shows us the Finder icon which more or less confirms this is a Mac-centric event.

Having said that, Apple is likely to have a new iMac model which is overdue for a refresh, and the new version could be powered by the new M3 silicone. Apple has shown it is already leaps above competition with its M2 chips and now it wants to take another jump into the technology.

Reports say Apple could announce the whole M3 chip lineup, which should have the M3 Pro and M3 Max variants. We’re not sure if the MacBooks will also get a taste of the new chips but it is likely that Apple will have at least one or maybe two MacBook upgrades at the event.

What we don’t expect to see at the event are new iPads or even the new MacBook Pro models. All these are likely to be showcased at an event early next year.
